JLo, Enrique Iglesias cancel Florida concert

September 2nd concert had been postponed by Latin pop stars Enrique Iglesias and Jennifer Lopez in Florida as part of their North American tour.

Described as some "logistics issue" by the representatives of the venue, the show had been canceled.

As per the venue statement, "The tour will conclude with two final shows at American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida on 31 August and 1 September. Ticket holders for the 2 September Orlando date will be refunded at original point of purchase."

This is the second concert of the pair's joint tour which has been cancelled; earlier this month a show in Anaheim, California was also cancelled due to some logistic issue. 

Iglesias ruined J-Lo surprise!!!

Enrique felt guilty because he accidently "screwed up" Jennifer Lopez's birthday surprise.

"She had a surprise party and I didn't even know about it, and I was like, 'I'm trying to make it to your party for your birthday!' I felt so bad, I was like, 'Oh my God, I can't believe I just screwed that up,'" he laughed in an interview with Extra.


"We've actually sang a few songs together in the studio. By the time we do it it's going to be hopefully half way through the tour, or as soon as possible," he said. "Even if it doesn't happen during the tour, I want to work with Jennifer for a long time.

"It's strange, because I actually wrote that song for myself, but when I wrote it I was like 'This is not for me, this is for a girl.'"

Iglesias Wanted To Record with JLo

Singer Iglesias is currently touring with Jennifer Lopez in US has said Monday that he would love to record some "cool, Latin" sounds with her.

Thus far the duet are grabbing full crowd in their concert but they don't sing together in their presentations, the Spaniard said that they're likely to do so not far down the road.


The singer told EFE via e-mail that the idea doesn't spring from "anything in particular, we've recorded several things together but it must be like Jennifer says, that I'm too much of a perfectionist - but I'm positive we'll do a number together and may it be soon".

"Meanwhile we're really enjoying the tour," the 37-year-old singer said after the two concerts he gave this weekend with Lopez and rap duo Wisin & Yandel in Newark, New Jersey.
